Like @offthewall, I was looking forward to hearing a new work from you. Hope whatever is causing the block doesn't persist! I really enjoy your style of composition.

I also have had a dearth of inspiration, although I'm not much of a songwriter so it's not a big concern to me.

Maybe next month...

What mic did you use, a small diaphragm condenser?

Is it a piezo on the acoustic or a dynamic mic?

Post

can't sing, can't play, looks awful.....

Mine was recorded straight into the DAW.

Compose on your name on march?

Music was done differently before the chords. One polyphonic method was to think music as parallel horizontal lines, one a short repeating monophonic pattern and the other a freeform monophonic melody. The pattern could be e.g. your forum name converted to notes.
I don't record any instruments live, I construct my music.

Like four part harmony? Not everyone plays from sheet or composes in this way.
How would you go about it? Would you write midi data into the piano roll.

I suggest BAD FACE DAD
Use the chord sequence above, minor or major, sharp or flat using can be used. Chord blocks can be used in any order. e.g face dad bad - B Ab Db /F# A C# Eb/ D# A D# can use enharmonic equivalents e.g F#/Gb D#/Eb etc

Alternatively, a Jazz standard.
