That's how I get my kicks in 2026 (dance track)

That was fun. The structure reminds me of the scratch DJ stuff from the 90s—ZTrip. A lot of fun lines in there.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

haha yes, it is more or less an exact copy of 90s DJ music, just a lil slower and more danceable.eassae wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 12:26 am That was fun. The structure reminds me of the scratch DJ stuff from the 90s—ZTrip. A lot of fun lines in there.
My goal is always to reach daily top ten of daily 200.000 new uploads, you probably can imagine under how enormous pressure I am, I wish I could call it fun too. Thanks

I saw you had posted a track and just had to listen to it. You really do march to a different drummer. One of the more unusual things I've heard here. Absolutely loved it. May I ask what synths you used on this track?

Waldorf Microwave and Xpand2 -sometimes both together layered. I often use Xpand2 in combination with other synths, Xpand has these beautiful basic sounds, most people don't know you can tweak the sounds of Xpand2 and create your own presets. Xpand2 is my secret weapon.Thanks.wagtunes wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 8:48 am I saw you had posted a track and just had to listen to it. You really do march to a different drummer. No one ever talks about my bass
The weird sounds are no synths, though, it is bass with some filter effect triggered with volume pedal in real time during performance like a wah pedal.
I hope the song made u wanna dance haha
Btw drums clearly inspired by Mitch Mitchell and Andy Newmark, hey and Prince, a mix of us four and of course played freely without a click.
