About 20 Instruments. 90% patches from Init.
Plugins: My standard arsenal of Bitwig and Melda Plugins as always.
On top and as I've mentioned earlier in this thread I've used two of my own plugins: https://github.com/huberp/phu-splitter and https://github.com/huberp/phu-arp

Hi all!
Here is my entry for this month. I think i've stepped out of my comfort zone pretty well with this one. And the track title is probably the worst joke i've made so far.
https://soundcloud.com/impedancemusic/t ... ktomytrack
After hearing so many great cinematic tracks i've felt motivated to try and make my own "cinematic soundtrack for something™" And well i soon realized that i have no idea what i'm doing. So i did something. And then that something lead to something, which itself lead to something and in the end, i've ended up with something. Something good/ok-ish i hope. Well here is a cinematic track, made by someone who is only experienced in making completely emotionless synthpop songs.
Feel free to give brutal feedback!
Technical Details:
Instances of Integrate: 20
Tempo: 130 BPM
DAW: FL Studio 2025
Presets: None, everything is made from scratch
Effects:
Master:
Fruity Limiter, Maximus and Youlean Loudness Meter2 [One Instance Each]
Channels:
Fruity Stereo Enhancer on the "Accoustic" Snare
IntegrateFX [Parametric EQ and Multiband Distortion] on the LoFi Timpani
Hope you enjoy this

Didnt think i'd actually have time to finish this. for this submission i started making a warhammer 40k themed song, in the style of the mechanicus soundtrack by Guillame David, it quickly spiraled into this, once the FM sounds started giving me a hard on. I didnt want to make the song too long, and i didnt want too-too much dubstep so there is a nice ambient section at the end for all you ambient lovers. kept it to 2 minutes. No need to beat a dead horse. I used some khz distortion to add teeth to one or two sounds. Once again i thought i was gonna use it to completely oblitereate the sound but ended up not needing that, integrate with its FM and internal fx got me most of the way there. IDK why i even used the distortion plugins to be honset they did almost nothing. I used one on a hi hat, that seemed to add a flavor i needed. Speaking of hihats, i used EZ convolve and some illegal EQ peaking to get a pretty neat hihat sound, the abuse of internal fx (chorus) got some nice resonant cymbal like sounds that i just colored a bit with convolve. not very obvious at first since there is one hi hat that sounds completely inorganic. I already showed in Discord how I did my kick which slams pretty hard, and all i did for snare is modify the kick a bit and add noise, with some illegal eq peaking, then some convolve on the top end only. this time around i took it easy (easier) on the master. My goal was to make a lot of sounds in the "drop" that are flying all over the place. I used a good bit of panning and stereo tools. I have a lot of percussive basses that do the job. Lots of layering of in this song. Esp when it came to some of the Mid bass sounds. Once again i thought i would use my fav free distortion plugin Ohmicide to absolutely destroy the sound but ended up just putting on a preset that i think just saturated the sound a bit. integrate Ran pretty well with my cpu, i rendered some sounds out because i want to use them as samples in personal projects. otherwise i had minimal performance hiccups.
khz clipper
reaeq - used it to cut only some lows, and extensively on percussion in form of narrow peaks
reacomp - used it on some mid bass sounds to bring out quiet textures
SPAN - used it to dial in exact frequency of SUB bass, and kick
KhzGate - used it to remove some excess reverb off of percussion to make room in
the mix
khz gain - i use this mainly to modulate volume
reaLimit - used it on a pad, its not doing shit
khz Distortion - used it to color some sounds
khz Shaper - same, just wanted to use it and experiment, didnt really need it
Mconvolution EZ - used it extensively on percussion, and pads and leads, used it on a bass sound
khz Reverb - sporadically
khz Delay - for sound design beacause its simple and i know how to use it. didnt even bother with internal delay
khz transient shaper - used this on some percs and on some mid percussive basses, one of my fav plugins not gonna lie
khz stereo - for pads leads, drones risers and shit that does not belong in the middle of the mix
ozone imager - for more widening, just touchup.

Mhm ... Khs distortion and shaper ... I always find it interesting how I make myself hold back on distortion plugins after reading the rules ... but nowadays it seems completely okayish ... "obviously only for colorization". In case of Integrate you could have avoided my message by using Integrate FX. Final word ... Ask about it on dicord, I think usage of distortion plugins get's absoulution.loris16148 wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 10:20 pm https://soundcloud.com/user-87727874/loris-disintegrate

My submission:
https://soundcloud.com/vca-089/infravolt-psychicpowers
29 instances used to create a track.
For this time I created a fast paced action theme with a twist on a sort of otherworldly atmosphere. The instrument has a nice layout and sound design potential as for every other Nakst synths and it's great that it's now free. I have played a lot with FM possibilities using additional waveforms and I like the multiband distortion effect. Also, I found that the synth can be useful for chiptune sounds wia the "Oscillator character" effect.
Produced in FL Studio 21.2.2
Generators:
x1 FL Layer (utility)
x29 Nakst "Integrate"
EQ & Saturation:
x2 BPB Dirty Filter
x4 BPB Saturator
x18 FL Parametric EQ 2
x3 TDR "Nova"

Delay & Reverb:
x11 FL Delay 3
x14 FL Reeverb 2
x1 OrilRiver
x1 TAL-Reverb 4

Didn't have a bunch of time this month, but at least I got something out and had fun doing it!
Like others, didn't need many additional effects with Integrate having a bunch of tools. However, that could also be a result of not spending much time mastering

I love music, worked with a number of music/rhythm/dance games like Pump It Up, In The Groove, Cytus and Deemo, and teach music production.
