crusher-X 12.1 delivers a seamless free maintenance update focused on smoother workflow and enhanced stability. Presets exceeding 0 dB are better managed to prevent unexpected distortion. macOS users benefit from a range of fixes, including improved plug-in display on high-resolution screens, correct Atmos channel layouts, restored surround modes, consistent 3D panner panel colors, and fully visible hints.

• Adds panner path visible in disabled gray in stereo modes
• Improves presets being louder than 0dB
• macOS: Fixes AU plug-ins (macOS) on opening GUI on higher screen resolutions
• macOS: Fixes wrong Atmos channel layout in Logic modes
• macOS: Fixes hints not appearing
• macOS: Fixes missing surround mode restore in AU version
• macOS: Fixes background color not matching panel color within the 3D panner

How to get this free update?

As a crusher-X 12 licensee just follow again the download instructions described in your crusher-X delivery mail (that you received after your crusher-X purchase). The challenge/response wizard will not show up if already executed with crusher-X 12. Please contact us if you need help!

Upgrade/Crossgrade from crusher-X 11 or all earlier versions:

Admittedly, when I first purchased crusher-X, I was a little intimidated by the interface. I often felt like I was using software that you’d find in a laboratory with a mad scientist. But over the years, the updates have been getting better and better.

It’s the type of plug-in that I can get totally lost in for hours, but in a good way. And I must say, I really appreciate the direction that accSone decided to go with version 12 and up. It’s becoming more user-friendly for beginners and intermediate users, which is important in my opinion.

Version 12 introduced an updated UI that added better visual organization for the way that my mind works. All of a sudden, more of its functionality started to click and make sense. Now that I’m spending more time with it, I can see how the updates have made it more fun to use. So thank you for continuing to develop this King of granular plug-ins!
