FYI that will be doable in Podium later on. You yourself will be able to specify what plugs (and which parameters to present) to have on your channel "strip". Looking forward to this.HansM wrote:What would you want that mixer to do?
It's not meant as a dumb question, but the obvious answer: volume, panning, Eq, maybe compression, doesnt work in VST-land. Although I would love to have a mixer like that... But then replace the Eq and Comp on all channels with the different Kjaerhus and Voxengo components...

VBAudio has a bunch of channel strip plugs. There is one free one (eq comp w/ sidechain) but I believe it doesn't support automation so its pretty limited.
The rest are IMO overpriced and require a dongle (!) to use...
Oh well...

(you can get the free V1 StripTool by clicking the "DEMO" button on the bottom of the page (took some looking)

you can use digitalfishphones's normalizer with cmx844 to kill the high cpu. i use it in Bidule because i'm not a big fan of it's internal mixer modules. anyway, i find myself hooking up one instance of normilizer to every input that's connected to a plugin. cmx844 hasn't update in quite a while so it's not optimized for denormals...

I guess you're still using an old-fashioned sequencer..
