Cuauhtli wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 4:30 pm According to a google search, you have to enable administration rights in Win 11.
Don't you need an account with admin rights to do it though. At least that's how it is in other Windows versions.

I am on win 11 and have admin rights altho some update might have decided I dont really want them but on other files I can right click and choose admin - a bit of a search has me find people mentioning .msi installers run into this problem compared to .exe . I have contacted the dev as this does look the sort of plugin I would use

It can totally change the vibe of your sequences and whatnot, just like the name says.

$19 launch price still in effect. Worth a demo imo :tu:

Can it be used offline once initially authorized?
No need to phone home at any given moment?
I dunno, I believe so, it's just an unlock code. My computer is always online, unless there's a prob with the cable.

Have you tried to launch Command Prompt as an admin and launch the .msi from there?

Thanks everyone who responded
This is just now fixed - I contacted the dev and they also have direct installers which works a treat - I then bought it.

This is an absolute banger. I tried it on a simple arp. Came up with so many unique rhythms just twisting knobs and playing with the delay/velocity.

Melody Sauce 3

This isn't an update. It's a complete rebuild.

We're talking chord progression generation and bass, MIDI import with automatic key detection and an all-new UI with piano roll.

Under the hood, completely rewritten algorithms that produce longer, more musical melodies.

As a thank you for being an existing Melody Sauce 2 customer, your upgrade price is just $29 - that's 71% off the full price of $99.
(Even if you grabbed MS2 recently, your total cost is still less than what new customers will pay)
https://www.evabeat.com/

$79 / £79 / €79 Introductory Price

Upgrade - $29 / £29 / €29

Whoever does their marketing needs to be fired. There are no reviews, no videos, no demo, and no sound previews of the melodies it creates. I have a Melody Sauce 2 license and would consider upgrading but this is ridiculous.

Totally agree with you. I am VERY hesitant to upgrade without some sort of video walkthrough!!! :x :x

They're screwing over Europeans. $79 is ~68 euros and ~58 British pounds.

Yeah, I looked everywhere for a video to post but drew a blank. Still nothing on YouTube.
I like and use Melody Sauce 2 so £29 for the upgrade seems reasonable but I would like to see the new features in action first. I have sent them an email asking for some videos.
