Hello. I am cosidering buying one, but my experience with encoders in live performance has never been good. usuallu encoders are nice for studio production, but for live performance, most of the time they are too slow and it's difficult to go from the min to the max in one tweak / turn.

How is your experience with it? Is it any good for live performance?

i personally would never go with encoders for live performance. Most feel like shit anyway. Besides other things.

vs. the LCXL-3, i have one, barely used it, never used any encoders for anything. Bought it as a test. I have it here on the table, just turned some of the encoders. Feels like shite compared to the old one.

AND: bevore of the update was the speed vs. the control: sloow ! it was shit !....for me: unusable that way. Even the faders ! They made an update to the FW. Never checked with midi CCs with the new FW.

in short, this:

Just, the touch of the encoders, the resistance, that´s not made for fast movements with high rotation degrees in mind while jamming. That´s made to "adjust" the things. "There" that could be very well feel nice. That´s my opinion on it.

Since i´ve quasi not used the mine, take it as a piece of salt...and wait for better feedback ;)
