Hi all

I've been using Ableton's find similar feature and Sononym to try to find a similar snare but it's just not getting there. I know i've heard this sound so many times before, potentially just a 909 snare layered with a 909 clap, but I just can't crack it.

Would be very grateful for some pointers.

Don't know how else to add the audio file so here's a dropbox link:

Thanks!

if you load the sample in your DAW you can see that if you use an EQ the lower frequency part of the sound is a kick sample(although high-passed) and the top end is all white noise.

you should be able to recreate something like this fairly easily with a bit of effort
