Yes we are working on some videos, and will be uploading some audio examples later today.
We also offer a 7 day refund policy.
Hope that helps, and thanks for your interest.

Hi there, Charlie from Evabeat here. Firstly thank you for mentioning the release here, something I hadn't got round to myself.
You're right there are no videos or demos yet and I completely understand the hesitation, but we're working on them now. We're a super small team - we don't even have anyone doing marketing (we've always relied on influencers and word-of-mouth) - and with 50k existing users right now we're focused on handling lots of upgrades and the inevitable flurry of support queries. A pdf user guide will be available at evabeat.com and videos will follow. Thanks for bearing with us.
On the pricing you're right that the £/€ figures come with a premium over the dollar price - that's partly down to VAT of up to 27% (our £/€ prices include VAT) and platform fees in those regions and quite a few competitors do this, but I appreciate it's not ideal.
We do have a 7-day no-questions-asked refund policy. So if you want to try Melody Sauce 3 with the $29 upgrade or the $79 new license before the video and audio guides land, you have that as a guarantee. Once all the videos and audio examples are in place, we might even do a bit of marketing! Happy to answer any questions directly.

I can understand the wish for videos as I personally was looking round for this and a user guide (not the emotions about it, you dont have to buy you know....) but have to say after buying and playing round with it since yesterday: you dont really need it.
There is a really helpful help integrated at the bottomn, for evrything you are on with the cursor it shows you what its all about and what to do.
For me it solves questions like: how to change the chords without changing the rest, how to drag and drop midi to your daw, ......
While it has much more content it has not gone more complex to use, I find it even easier cause most things you can simply try out. Choose the freestyle and simply click on ANY pad, you dont have to make any settings, just hit a pad and it will generate songpart.

Hello Charlie. What do you have to say about the fact you charge Europeans more than the US citizens? €79 is $91,77 and £79 is $105,92.evabeat wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 7:16 pm Hi there, Charlie from Evabeat here. Sure, if you add an imaginary VAT. FYI, it is not the same in every European country and under half of the European countries (20) use euro.OneOfManyPauls wrote: Sun Mar 08, 2026 4:43 pm How is that not answered already in the post you quoted?

Finally watched a video on Melody Sauce 3. You can't edit the chords and melody notes don't overlap. So it's definitely a pass for me. I understand the "7 day refund policy" but I hate that business model. I don't like paying for something upfront when I might not like it. It's just an unnecessary extra step to have to request for my money back.

I probably will get Instacomposer 3 and Melody Sauce 3 updates for 8 and 29€ respectively. Not so much money and all the fun.
I'm learning more about chord progressions with all those programs than doing it by hand, which is a chore for me. Let's see which is better (I bet insta wins).

There's a Humble Bundle for Sample Logic's Realms and Animation Station for $15:
https://www.humblebundle.com/software/s ... warebundle
Animation Station is a pretty cool arpeggiator/sequencer. Pretty cool for Tangerine Dream style ratcheting sequences. Another nifty feature is you can set the rate of each step so you can have a mix of slow and fast sections, along with ratchets, mutes, etc. Realms has four effect sections you can mix between (chorus, delay, digital reverb, convolution reverb). Those are the only effects but you can switch them out so you can put four delays for example.
My interest was in Animation Station and Realms just came along for the ride. Hopefully there aren't any bugs. Seems stable at the moment. Tried it on Win 10, Reaper, and it loaded in Bitwig fine though I didn't actually use it in Bitwig.

Yep, highly recommended as it can be as subtle or as chaotic as your heart's desire. Just a 'heads up' to Studio One/Fender Studio Pro DAW owners: you will need to download a special version of the plug in from the Bjango website that appears as an INSTRUMENT in your browser to drag and drop onto a track i.e. the EFFECT version will not work in Studio One/Fender Studio ProJiggSaw wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 4:15 amThis is an absolute banger. I tried it on a simple arp. Came up with so many unique rhythms just twisting knobs and playing with the delay/velocity.pekbro wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 5:15 am So I picked this up about a week ago, big fan of it. Simple, clever and interesting little utility.
It can totally change the vibe of your sequences and whatnot, just like the name says.
$19 launch price still in effect. Worth a demo imo

Another new plugin from Bjango I'm liking a lot, Midi Memories, midi recorder. For me it's pretty convenient YMMV. Intro sale is on...

From the SpaceWalk creator, there's a new plugin called PhraseLab that looks a lot like InstaComposer:
