First I deleted everything pertaining to BFD 3.5,just search your app data roaming folder ,documents folder program files folder, any folder related to bfd.
I then uninstalled the inmusic and reinstalled and deleted anything in there before reinstalling.
Uninstalled the old 3.4 license manager.
I think I installed this older 3.4 app after being frustrated with the InMusic App.
But that needs to go as well.
Rebooted.
Started the InMusic Program, then installed BFD 3.5 and core library first into their defaults locales..
I then added my external Hd location in the BFD 3.5 app even though nothing located there.
I then deactivated all my expansions in the InMusic installer.
Then after that ,I installed EVERY expansion I own including the ones that would not play fair like the London Sessions,Sabian Cymbals,Wood snares which previously showed blank presets and missing kit pieces.
The InMusic App activates each expansion after installation which in my case is my External SSD drive.
Core library still in default locale.
After all that,rebooted PC.
Started BFD 3.5 and all is working!!!@
Everything !!!
Not one issue.
Can't believe it.

I'm happy you got your software working, buddy. Happy music making! I'm sure this will help someone down the line as well.

I finally just gave up years ago on BFD. It was never very stable for me. That was quite the effort to get it working. Glad you got it. Well done!

I'm glad to hear you're up and running.
It really is a shame what happened to BFD. I haven't opened it since I left 10 months ago. I can't really bear to. All of the sounds that I recorded and played the drums for, and I can no longer use them. Massive shame.

I use it all the time.
The only issue I've ever had with it was initial setup where I had to hunt down some older version of some verification app.
Ever since then it's been working fine.
The new UI is way better than the old one.
I do hate the license check every yime you make an instance of it though.

I really good question, I had weird work around where I had a setup with two short cuts that I would disconnect my network before I launched it and relaunch my network when it was running as a work around.
If I didn't I would have to authorise it each time it run.
