It's definitely there.

Have you tried to use it?
It may show, but when I tried the demo, it didn't work, and other people here verified that.
Can't try the demo again to see if they ever fixed it. I doubt it though.

If I put on the pitch, there is modulation.felis wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:32 amHave you tried to use it?

To be honest, I've never used it in one of my patches. So, if you have a specific use case in mind, let me know and I can test it.
And how can it be "sent" as MIDI information? Is it an MPE parameter?

I would really like Waldorf's software division to excel! But until I get these going on a really (rilly, rilly!) modern machine, I won't comment. The last time I tried Nave it was just plain "clunky". Dunno, kinda inefficient. I lost interest in trying it again,
and I luv synthesizers. Sure, it sounded lush, but still...

Okay, I compared it to Largo 1, there is a difference.felis wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:32 amHave you tried to use it?

But something I don't understand, if this is important to you, why you don't report it to Waldorf as a bug? Instead of complaining here "it's not the same synth". Do you enjoy wasting other people's time? Not with me.

It seems in latest version release velocity does work, but there's a bug where the last value is remembered when it shouldn't be, so if you try playing back from before a note event is hit, that note will start with the wrong pitch (if you modulated pitch with release velocity).

I did report it to them, of course.Rastkovic wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 8:10 am ... if this is important to you, why you don't report it to Waldorf as a bug? Instead of complaining here "it's not the same synth"....
As well as asking them if they could add it to more of their current hardware.

any time i’ve reported a bug to waldorf they reply with “we’ve sent this on to the developer”. aren’t they the developer or are they farming all this out to someone else?felis wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:59 pmI did report it to them, of course.Rastkovic wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 8:10 am ... if this is important to you, why you don't report it to Waldorf as a bug? The support person answering you is most often not the developer.

yeah i know.. but the phrasing always strikes me as weird and they’re the only company who’s ever answered me in that way. everyone else has some variation of “we’re working on it/we’re aware/thanks for reporting the issue we’ll see if we can recreate it”EvilDragon wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 7:29 pm The support person answering you is most often not the developer.
chalk it up to cultural differences i guess.
or maybe the support people are the ones who are farmed out and just taking messages and passing them along.
