I prepurchased back in December but the FastSpring account shows no download link. I can see my other PM product links, just not Phonec3.
Many thanks![]()

PM me too, please. Phonec 2 user also.jack [psychicmodulation] wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 4:46 pmYes there is. Sending you a PM.Winstontaneous wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 7:04 am Congratulations! Is there any discount for Phonec 2 license holders?
Circuit mode in v2 is essentially what v3 does. The Tape mode option was basically a built-in effect component I included way before EchoMelt or any other Melt effects. I decided not to include that on Phonec3 since it's just extra weight and isn't a necessary feature.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 7:05 pm So Melt used to have an option for circuit based melt or as an effect on top. Is that still possible? Or which one is it now?

I'm not getting that behavior here. What host/OS are you on? Any particular patch? I can hear it straight away when I load 'Slap Bass'. If Osc Retrig is off, you hear variations in each note. If active it's an identical bass hit each time. That's when triggering the same note repeatedly. Is that not the case for you?Vortifex wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:03 am Possible bug: Oscillator retrigger only happens when you play notes of different pitch. When you repeat the same note it still cycles through phase. This is different to how P2 behaves and not desirable behaviour for me personally. Particularly with bass patches it's important that every note retriggers if that option is selected.
Another possible bug: I wondered why a lot of my imported bass patches were sounding weak. Turns out in Phonec3, when you select And, Or or Xor osc combinations, the sub oscillator becomes very quiet.
Just tested this in Bitwig 5 with no issues. Arp syncs tight. Can't test in v6 just yet as it's not yet available. Any particular preset your using or is this the case anytime you use the arp?vitocorleone123 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:10 am Is it me and Bitwig 6, or does the arpeggiator not actually sync with the DAW?
When I click play with other synths/arps, it restarts in sync with the DAW.
I did a poor job of describing the issue. Apologies. The issue is when using the Note Hold + Arp. They seem to be able to get out of sync.jack [psychicmodulation] wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:44 amJust tested this in Bitwig 5 with no issues. Arp syncs tight. FL Studio/Win 11. It's most noticeable in Mono mode. Retrigger only happens when you trigger a note before the release from the last note has finished, or if you play different notes in a legato style (not Legato mode). If you play staccato without overlapping, there is no retrigger behaviour.jack [psychicmodulation] wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:36 am I'm not getting that behavior here. What host/OS are you on? Sub Osc disappearing with Logic gates sound strange, I'll look into it.
Just tested in FL Studio on Win 11 with that preset and I'm not getting that behavior at all. Are you sure you're using the latest version? What is the version number you see when you click on the Phonec logo? It should be 3.0.1. This is one of the items that I fixed from the previous version.Vortifex wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 10:58 amFL Studio/Win 11. It's most noticeable in Mono mode. Load the preset linked below. With the long release it retriggers. Put the amp release to 0 and then play staccato. No retrigger, unless you play legato style. This also happens in the Slap Bass patch you mentioned.

In Phonec2 retrigger behaves as expected:

Ok, I'm seeing that Bitwig is indeed behaving differently when using Note Hold with the Arp. In Ableton Live I press a note and the Arp plays, then I press play in Live with a drum track and the arp syncs up with it (It'll actually jump to the correct sync when host play starts). When I press stop in Live, the arp stops as well. That's not happening in Bitwig at all. So I'm gonna have to look into that a bit.vitocorleone123 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:57 amI did a poor job of describing the issue. Apologies. The issue is when using the Note Hold + Arp. I am using 3.0.1. It's clearly audible here. Long release - retrig works. Staccato short release with no overlap - retrig doesn't work:jack [psychicmodulation] wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 5:40 pm Just tested in FL Studio on Win 11 with that preset and I'm not getting that behavior at all.
