They really wrote a song about that?

I was in my car with my son and they were playing "Whoever You Are" by Geggy Tah and he asked me "Did they really just write a song because they were glad someone let them into their lane while driving?". I explained that he was right and that people had been making fun of that song for the same reason since it came out.

[OK, I'll admit that story is partially made up because I can't remember the actual song I was thinking of which was something really lame on the order of complaining they couldn't get the last bit of ketchup out of the bottle]

So what are the songs that made you think "seriously, you wrote a song about that?"

Of course they don't all have to be lame. That Morcheeba song about the ex-priest bounty hunter is kind of cool even if it does come out of nowhere.

As an aside, I also remember hearing someone think that "Sisters are Doin It For Themselves" was about the same thing, but then it's not like people actually listen to the verses in the chorus.
