Hey guys, we started another thread on Grainferno already so maybe we can use that to discuss Grainferno? Especially since this thread got derailed into a question about Atoms after 1 message.

In any case, here's an answer to your question about Atoms: Atoms has certain MPE capabilities while extended MPE implementation has been requested by many users. One of our biggest priorities for Atoms V2 is to implement all those requests. It requires a deeper architectural revamp but we're on it!

Happy to answer any further questions about Atoms - or Grainferno - in this thread or the other... We're around for it all

hmmm let's see what's unique and not just another grain synth. the morph aspect seems nice, needa demo it. i know with granular synth it might be hard but i love Baby Audio plugins with their random features, why not have here any random button?

As for random:
There's a section of random modulators in the plugin (located on the right hand side of the interface). It includes two random mods that will assign unique random values per control mapping and one mod that will assign the same random value across all control mappings.

In general, there are a lot of unique and new features to explore from grain rate synced modulation, tonal audio rate grain generation, dual sample morph, per grain effects (the g-comp compression is one of the highlights) and much more. Basically every control in the plugin can be modulated including other modulation parameters.

But we encourage you to check it out, and more importantly, hear it for yourself, with the trial / video content that will be coming out. It goes pretty deep

I also wanted to say "not another granular synth" but this has a really nice combination of features I haven't seen anywhere else. It could be cool if there was a swing option for the modulators, the morph types and the grain rate.
