Nothing unless you're typing this from more than two decades ago. DAW elitism is dead and yet people still try to prop its corpse up.
Most of the times names bother me is, like the OP mentioned, when they're incorporating the name of some well-known producer or musician into the name of the software itself. Like all those CLA plugins out there. It won't straight up make me pass on software but it does tend to make me a little more skeptical. I think that's one of the reasons I never gravitated toward Waves stuff.
