Where is the best place for someone to start learning sound design?
My assumption would be just doing what you enjoy, but I'm interested to hear if there are any widely regarded educational materials or courses....

General. I mean I'm not trying to make jazz. But beyond that I wouldn't want to narrow the scope of possibility.

If you use FL Studio, there is multiple tutorials by Image-Line themselves about how to design sounds on their synths (called Generators).
