How do I programm Mod Wheel Midi messages into the sequencer?

Post

Add a Control Change or MIDI Envelope for CC 01 to any MIDI clip and start clicking.

For Control Change entry, hold down Alt and drag in the channel area to add copious and unnecessarily repeating CC values. Hold down Ctrl as well to draw a line through existing data, but not to actually add any values. Then get frustrated, give up and use a MIDI envelope instead. :hihi:

In fact, I'm hoping we'll be able to have different nodes like 'Step', 'Linear' etc. like we had in XT 1.4.1 and a little value box which shows the current value of the node in the forthcoming 2.5.

Automation in XT2 could be brilliant, it's just gonna take a little bit of TLC.

^^
Holding down "Alt" while dragging across the bottom window in a "pitch wheel" function, actually works. Its not Ableton, or the next beyonce production, but its ghetto rigged and works.

You can also use CTRL+rightclick, to draw a line.

Is there any way to DELETE, modwheel entries,
or any entries, in the channel area?

Brave AI says there is no such option.
But it seems odd that that something that simple would be disregarded across the lifetime and many iterations of this DAW.

@TorresBob88:
Hold down 'SHIFT' while selecting the entries you want to delete via mouse move with left mouse button down?

@Patrik
It doesn't do anything.
I tried left button, right button, +shift, +cntrl, +alt...

But now that I think about it, is that a common function at all?
I never figured out a way to remove bottom "modifier" panel entries in MuLab either. I always had to just draw a flat line, roughly down the middle, to set the key back to nuetral.

I dont know why that would be an unusual function to ask?
But maybe those are the rules. :)

Another work-around, is to select and copy the Midi notes,
and paste them into a new clean sequence, and start over.
