Description:
Since utilizing the Time Display component, it consistently displays an incorrect value upon opening a file if the file parameters differ from the audio device settings.
Steps to Reproduce:
  • Set the audio interface to 24-bit / 48 kHz.
  • Open an audio file with different parameters (e.g., 16-bit / 44.1 kHz).
  • Observe the Cursor position field and the Time Display.
Observed Behavior:
The "Cursor position" and "Time Display" show different values. Clicking various positions within the file maintains this mismatch. The desynchronization persists until playback is initiated. Upon starting playback, Acoustica applies the correct parameters, and the Time Display immediately synchronizes with the Cursor position and after that everything works fine.

Workflow Impact:
This issue prevents accurately checking timestamps for pauses (e.g., marking audiobook chapters) immediately after opening a file without playing it. The Time Display's large UI is ideal for this task, but the current lack of synchronization pre-playback is highly problematic.

Information
Windows 11 64bit
Acoustica 7.7.8

P.S.
Besides that, just as a side note, for about a month now I’ve noticed that sometimes Acoustica seems to “hang” during initialization. The splash screen remains visible and doesn’t disappear, even though the main program window is already displayed in the background (and works).
It doesn’t happen every time, and honestly I have no idea what might be causing it (I have OpenGL disabled and checking for updates at startup turned off).
