A huge thank you to you.

It will be a great pleasure.

A huge thank you for your kindness.

Regarding the samples, they are for Trance/Trance Uplifting music.

I recommend Hapax for sequencing anything you have. VSTs/Hardware. Maybe you can find virtual midi tools that can help you in similar ways if working in the box, but when I'm using Hapax I come up with surprisingly musical stuff that I would never usually come up with, just by doing really simple tweaks on the internal midi fx. I use it with Maschine+ to get around the limitations of the Maschine's sequencer and it works really well. I have not used it stictly with vsts yet though as I prefer hardware. Grab one if you can afford, used. Sell it if you don't like. It is super intuitive and easy to learn imho.

Now that original Oxy One’s are so cheap, I wonder if it would be a good idea to use for expanding a DAW?

My own personal experience but I found the OXI unintuitive. It was hard to navigate around the various functions. Maybe the mk2 has improved on this.

Pretty much the easiest thing to bridge from DAW midi to euro rack CV. The only intimidating thing about OXI One is that it has so many features, but for simple sequencing it’s a breeze. The only thing I needing to read about was assigning modulation to the outs.

Thanks! That's great to know, I had a similar bad experience with the Torso T1 and am trying to avoid that.

How about for the algorithmic/generative stuff? Is it more intuitive than Elektron stuff?

I don't know about the electron stuff, there is a video specifically on it on YouTube though.
