Thanks for the update! Noemi standalone doesn't segfault on Linux here anymore!
Using the plugin scan there's only options for VST3, LADSPA and CLAP. Would be great to see LV2 in there. VST too if at all possible.
The Noemi vst3 plugins are missing the binaries.

I'll look into the other plugin formats. And the vst3 binaries had a linker error. Will post a new tar.gz shortly!sprnva wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 4:53 pm Using the plugin scan there's only options for VST3, LADSPA and CLAP. Would be great to see LV2 in there. VST too if at all possible.

I checked the tar.gz and saw that it's been updated. The plugins are behaving as the last release: the FX one freezes BespokeSynth when trying to open the UI and both crash Ardour.
Ardour crashing isn't out of the ordinary. It can be quite picky with plugins.
As for the standalone, it runs but will usually segfault within a few minutes. I'm also struggling to get effects to do anything. Inserting them in the signal flow has no effect. Even if I disconnect and reconnect the output of the synth. The cable shows signal going into the effect but nothing coming out. This is with both internal and plugin effects.

If you have a spare external drive you could install Linux to that and have it running native on the MBA without needing to repartition the internal drive.
I've had a quick look at the Mac build. Inserting effects doesn't work there either. In both the standalone and the plugin. The FX plugin opens fine in BespokeSynth, so that issue is unique to Linux.
The standalone has crashed a couple of times. This is running on Intel Big Sur.

I love plugins with modules and virtual cables.
I assume Noemi has an audio and midi in and out.
Is it multitouch capable?
HAPPY 12 Transformers, Real-time MIDI processors.
Hope to try it soon.
Price?

If you can drop me the crash log ips files on discord that’d be a huge help!sprnva wrote: Wed Mar 18, 2026 10:02 am The standalone has crashed a couple of times. This is running on Intel Big Sur.

Audio In/Out, Midi In/Out, multitrack render, OSC, MTP. Multitouch on iPad, but not others yet. Not sure of price yet.. it’ll stay free until the beta is done tho!Kalamata Kid wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 5:14 pm I love plugins with modules and virtual cables.![]()

I was trying to figure out where to setup the path for my vst3/clap folders since I have run out of c drive space being able to add a couple of those would be good... I am still playing around with this but I was excited to see this. The live coding thing would be interesting as a vcv rack module. love your stuff. So far the effect version is working fine in cakewalk..
