Lately I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time fighting with resonance suppressors. You know the situation: you finally get rid of that nasty whistle in a vocal or the boxiness in a snare, but by the time the resonance is gone, the track sounds dull and lifeless.
I know that some plugins offer similar functionality, but the pricing seems excessive to me.
Since this is going to be my last plugin in the spectral realm, I found it fitting to push myself and try something a bit harder under the hood. I also put a lot of work into the UI to go for something that looks and feels a lot more professional.

The whole goal was to make something that snipes the harsh stuff without making the mix sound like a robot processed it. It’s got this "Auto Pilot" engine that actually listens to the track and ignores your transients, so it’s not just blindly hacking away at your drums or the upfront energy of a vocal.
My favorite part is the "Variation" stuff I put in there. If you’ve ever done a deep cut and felt like it left a weird, dead hole in the frequency spectrum, this fixes that. It injects a bit of organic movement back into the suppressed spots so the processing feels alive instead of static and digital. I also messed around with the Mid/Side logic, so instead of just turning the harsh frequencies down, it can actually push them out to the sides to widen the image while keeping your low end pinned in mono.
Anyway, I’m just happy to have it off my workbench and into my sessions. It’s a VST3 for Windows, it’s completely free for KVR users, and it’s ready to go.
Grab it here and let me know if it helps you out, I would really appreciate any feedback you guys have
