Check it out, this DAW does only VST3/CLAP plugins and comes with some cool synths. It's basically free to try out for as long as you want without any limitations, it just appends "Made with Unregistered Version of LingStation" to your renders if you don't have a pro or edu license. :D :D :D

You can buy it here:

or build it from source or download a prebuilt binary (without the synths):

Interesting, but I have a question: does it bring anything new when compared to all the other DAWs that people are already using ?

Hmmm, the immediate 2-cent Q of course. And one very hard to have a compelling answer to in the desktop space as we have so many very established options. I've used em all for a moment at least from Prodigy on Atari to Logic on a Mac and my beloved Vision DSP, Cakebalk, Energy XT... on Windows. I have been with Reason for over 20 years now.

Hmmm. It is kinda like an iFad app dragged to a desktop. It plays a little melodie when it launches.
The Settings dialog is lagged into next week and never updates to show my choice. Not reassuring.

The text seems to have a drop shadow or stroke to it so it mostly unreadable on my 1080 screen.

Nothing seems to just work. I added a synth (under FX) but could never get sound in any way.

So sad as it may seem, my answer to your Q has to be: No, I don't see anything that is or will ever add to the opus of DAWism. A shame as most DAWs need a kick in the pants from a workflow-based upstart to counter the ossification we are seeing just about everywhere else (eg Bitwig 6 slumped from elegant to WTF with B6 and even Reason have made things a bit messier with R13).

Does this support Linux?

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)
