Too cheap to sense hardware quality is my word. 100% perfect job on the multi "SH-" clone previous release, IMO. Used it in one project & hesitent to dive in deep and make the most of it... price some would say is too good to be true on modern software like Cherry stuff. Even if one does "buy it all"!

I can't possibly guess I have no idea how people somehow usually know Cherrys new stuff without snooping on their files. All I know is that I like Cherry's things more than Arturia & Korg, so far. Way way more.

I agree. I lobe their stuff even though some people think it all sounds the same. Whatever.StartMenu wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 2:09 am I can't possibly guess I have no idea how people somehow usually know Cherrys new stuff without snooping on their files. I bought an on sale Arturia V Collection and 1 upgrade and just don't love the effects collection I bought even more. It sounds similar but the whole appeal to Vintage is lost in Arturia to me with the most expensive vintage it emulates. Wavestate is the only Korg I love but I couldn't even get into that. I got deep into Voltage & Dreamsynth, so far.wagtunes wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 2:11 amI agree. I lobe their stuff even though some people think it all sounds the same. To be fair, and I'm not agreeing with him, if I posted a track containing 20 different synths, nobody could tell me which ones they were because in a mix, with everything going on, you really can't tell.ramseysounds wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 7:04 amAnd where is your proof of this libellous statement?Seafire Mk2 wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 10:23 pmThey don't even disguise the fact its just a new gui on the same old code.![]()

Well, actually ... if you used a famous D50 patch and a famous DX7 patch and ... they probably could tell.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

And you miss my point completely. Read what he said again. They haven’t even released it and hayters are posting the same old crapwagtunes wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 8:44 amTo be fair, and I'm not agreeing with him, if I posted a track containing 20 different synths, nobody could tell me which ones they were because in a mix, with everything going on, you really can't tell.ramseysounds wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 7:04 amAnd where is your proof of this libellous statement?Seafire Mk2 wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 10:23 pmThey don't even disguise the fact its just a new gui on the same old code.![]()
