Another player joins the fray! Liking the look of the UI a lot, but there's not much at all to go on in terms of samples and the video on the product page is not good. The main reason I'm posting this is because it's created by Cristian Vogel, a producer I listen to quite a bit and respect and who has been in the game for a looong time.Incline: Toposonic Corpus Explorer is a next-generation, analysis-driven granular instrument that transforms fixed audio into a navigable sonic terrain. Instead of treating segmentation as a utility step before playback, Incline makes segmentation and map traversal part of one musical system: you sculpt how audio is segmented and ordered, then perform that corpus spatially.
Incline combines three runtime modes in one environment:
- `One Shot` for direct segment audition and precise oneshot and ratchet style playback.
- `One Loop` for continuous traversal with micro-loop continuity.
- `Cloud` for distributed granular scheduling and evolving textures.
+ `Contour Sequencer` in all modes for autonomous traversal and timing synchronization.
The instrument is designed for composers and sound designers interested in exploring advanced granular resynthesis combined with state-of-the-art machine listening algorithms and performance techniques.
It's Mac-only to start with, but the Windows version is coming soon according to Vogel on Facebook.
