Hi everyone,
I'm a software developer and beat maker, and I've just released KickAndFlow — a free drum pattern VST plugin for DAW producers.
What it does:
KickAndFlow lets you build drum patterns without leaving your project. Load a MIDI file, assign instruments, and shape the groove with three real-time macro knobs:
— Energy — controls ghost note density. Above 50 adds ghost notes, below 50 strips the pattern to core hits only
— Flow — MPC-style swing. From straight grid to heavy swing
— Chaos — timing randomness and micro-rolls. From live drummer feel at low values to full glitch at high values
Key features:
— MIDI and Sample mode in one plugin
— Per-instrument controls: channel, note, volume, probability, humanize (timing + velocity)
— Glitch controls per instrument: density, position, length
— Live Mode — pattern auto-evolves on every loop
— Up to 8 stereo outputs in Sample mode
— DROP ALL — drag the entire kit to your DAW's Piano Roll in one move, ghost notes and swing included
— Presets: Boom Bap, Trap, Drill, Jersey Club, Phonk

Just pushed an update with a few quality-of-life improvements:

What's new:
— Multi-tab system — up to 8 independent tabs, each with its own patterns, routes, and macro state. Double-click to rename, right-click to delete
— Per-tab Undo/Redo — up to 30 steps per tab, UND/RED buttons in the tab bar
— Resizable window — drag the edge to scale the UI, aspect ratio is locked
— Ctrl+scroll on preset selectors — cycle through presets without reaching for the mouse

Fixed:
— Drag & Drop now exports correct notes: Sample mode uses the standard GM drum map (Kick=C3/36, Snare=D3/38, etc.), MIDI mode uses the note set in the instrument's Note field. Works for both individual drag and Drag All

Added:

Per-instrument Energy knob: each instrument has its own ENG (Energy) knob that adds so-called ghost notes; each instrument's knob works independently when turned;
Ghost notes are editable: several bugs were related to this;
Choke: an instrument can cut off the playback of another — found in the instrument settings (gear icon);
Note field moved out of the instrument row into the settings panel;
Up to 16 instruments can be added in Sample mode (expanded from the previous limit);
EXT MIDI mode: full pitch bend export on Drag & Drop — the DAW plays notes with the correct pitch if pitch was changed in the plugin grid;
Preview on click on the instrument label in GRID in Sample mode, as well as in settings and in the instrument row;
Alt + scroll wheel on a zone: tilt — notes are pushed toward one edge of the zone;
Recording notes in the Grid while playing a part by clicking on their names;
Copying within GRID using C — COPY, V — PASTE;
Deleting a selected area within GRID by right-clicking;
UNDO / REDO buttons;
Sample mode by default: new plugin instances open in Sample mode instead of MIDI;
Selecting areas in GRID with Ctrl — you can add different numbers of notes to the area by scrolling the mouse wheel; holding Alt in this mode pushes notes toward the right or left edge of the zone while scrolling;

A bunch of bugs fixed:

FL Studio crash on load: number of buses reduced from 32 to 8;
Crackling at loop boundary: a soft 5ms fade added;
Preset disappears when turning a knob;
Pitch of old notes sticks on a new preset;
Drag & Drop ignored Probability and Humanize;
EXT mode: VOL knob had no effect on volume;
EXT mode: pitch was not applied to notes with a Humanize offset;
VOL (Humanize): note colors in the grid were not updating;

The plugin interface has also been updated in line with all the changes described above.
