Hi everyone — I’d like to share a new update to Opusonix, a collaborative platform designed for audio production workflows.

What’s new in Opusonix 2.0:
1. Fast project setup + client/collaborator intake (Planner)
  • Set up a full project (tracks, notes, file uploads) in under a minute
  • Generate a shareable Planner link for clients/collaborators
  • They can submit assets + requests directly before work even begins
The goal here is to eliminate the usual back-and-forth at the start of a project and get everything organized from day one.

2. Video import + A/B audio testing
  • Import video files directly into your project
  • Review audio in sync with picture
  • A/B different audio versions against the same video
Useful for anyone working in post, scoring, or content production.

3. Workflow-focused collaboration system
Opusonix is designed to centralize:
  • Files
  • Feedback
  • Revisions
  • Decisions
Everything stays in one structured workspace, which helps reduce context switching and mental overhead during production.

4. Built for full projects (200GB storage)
Each account includes 200GB of storage, so you can manage projects from initial request through final delivery without jumping between platforms.

Seems like the wrong crowd to offer this to. Mixing engineers and bigger producers might be interested over at Gearspace. I don't see the value of any of these gazillion cloud-comment-collab services for single, amateur producers, who make up the majority of KVR and the relevant subreddits.

Good luck!

Hi Jules99,

Thanks for chiming in! I appreciate your honest take on this space in general. But I do think there is value for a platform like Opusonix for individual producers (pro or part-time).

Opusonix optimizes almost everything outside of the DAW (or Premier if you do video production). From the ideation stage, to mix evaluation and the final product. We see Opusonix as a "repository" perfect for producers to store their past works, draw inspiration from past works, and disseminate with the Internet (through the use of features such as public playlists). For example, if you need to browse your past works (whether it's video or audio), you need to dig up levels of folders on one of your hard drives. With Opusonix, it looks like this (see below). It's super clean to browse, and you can hear your music with a single-click. No need to open up a session, load up a plugin or anything like that. Super lightweight.

And if you ever need to show off your works, either during a presentation or if you wish to share things with the internet, you can easily pull that off in a slick format with easy previews.
Of course, starting a new project and collaborating with someone just makes the value much more apparent. I encourage you to try it out (and stay on the free plan if you don't need the extra bells and whistles), and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

BTW - I am the developer of Opusonix. So I actually do look forward to hearing everyone's input. Thanks a lot!
