WIDE and CHECK are zero-latency - should be fully usable for live playing. Both use IIR processing with no lookahead.Funky40 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 4:36 pm what´s the latency of your plugins ?
asking re. live play usages
SMOOTH and WARM use FFT spectral processing, so they report ~4096 samples of latency (~93ms at 44.1kHz). Your DAW compensates automatically via PDC, but for live monitoring that's in the range where you'd notice it. This is standard for spectral processors — similar to soothe 2, smart:comp, etc.
i am also planning a direct low-latency mode for SMOOTH in a future update - drops from 4096 to 512 FFT, bringing latency down to ~6ms (barely noticeable for live use). reduced frequency resolution as a trade-off, but good enough for real-time monitoring.
