This is a free alternative to Prosoniq Piwarp/Zynaptiq wormhole's WARP part. WarpCore can make vocal like alien 👽 and robot 🤖, and bring dark ambience to your synthesized pads. You can even apply on a whole song to destroy the melody.
WarpCore has a dynamic simd dispatch to full use your modern cpu, also zero latency, you just get some nonlinear phase from Butterworth filter.

I released LV2/AU/VST3 on Windows/Linux/Macos, but I have only tested VST3 on windows.
Attention, WarpCore requires a powerful CPU.(max 10% usage on i5-11300h with avx2, 256bands, 8pole)

These videos show what WarpCore can do.

I am not familiar with design GUI.

Looks interesting, but I can't get it to do anything at all. How are you supposed to use this exactly?

I put it on a track with a sample and no matter what I do with the controls, it doesn't affect the sound at all.

Reaper 7.66, Windows 10, x64.

Thanks for your reply.
It could indeed have problems on other machines. But i am unable to reproduce the situation you mentioned. It works on my pc with reaper 7.66 and windows 10 x64 and another windows 11 using reaper 7.66 too.
The dynamic simd dispatch need at least SSE2 support on x86-64, if your cpu doesn't support it, the plugin will do nothing to your audio.
Did you bypass it? Can you give me more infomation? Thank you.

Working here (Win 10, Reaper).

Ah, that might be it. I didn't bypass the plugin. I'm testing on a Phenom II, which does support SSE2, but not SSE4.2.

I am using a 3-rd party simd feature detector, this may be an issue with this library. Considering that SSE2 is an instruction set that must be present on 64-bit x86 CPUs, I can do a fix.

Thank you for bug report, i am adding pluginval step on CI system to testing plugin before release. If you have free time, please report this issue on GitHub with your crashlog :) .
Edit: I see a segement fault from auval mono channel test. Yes, this should be happend because i always assume stereo data. I will quickly do a fix to mono track capability.

working now in good old logic 10.5.1/mojave :-)

thanks!
:tu:

sounds great and cool btw
quite RING-y kinda thing

curious:
if it's working like a RING, would a modulator via sidechain make sense ?

Thank you, it's working now!

Cool plugin!

No, you can't add modulator via sidechain because it's not a ring-modulation. It's sounds like a ring modulator? Maybe those metallic inharmonics gave you this feeling. :D
