Thanks so much for the hard work, guys. It's beautiful.

Post

Thanks. As suspected we will have a 1.0.1 soon with a couple of errors and omissions unerred and readmitted, plus some new patches. This week. And then on to 1.1

Not to be all chilling-vision-of-things-to-come guy, but this synth with mpe is a bucket of fun

Post

Will it have channel aftertouch for us poors? :hyper:

Post

Once MPE implementation happens, you could say it will support channel aftertouch, in a way. :P

Post

Cool!

I wonder how polyphonic modulation works in CLAP. Will LFOs or ADSRs from Bitwig or REAPER work per voice? Does it depend on the modulator? Is there an On/Off setting, etc.?

Post

Polymod only really works with Bitwig. Reaper did not implement CLAP polymod. Actually not sure if they even implemented monophonic modulation, the parameter modulation system likely works the same as it does for VST3.

Post

But to answer your question

I’m doing midi 1 mpe first but once you do that you have a per voice drop point for offsets which will allow clap polymod and note expressions. I will probably code up the clap polymod at leas which will let bitwig per voice modulators work if you add the extra voice lifetime notification complexity - but with unison and envelope slop and voice stealing that has some mild difficulty so I might just stop at midi 1 mpe

Post

Oh, ok. Sad about REAPER. I'll try to nag them in the forum once 1.1 is out.

OB-Xf 1.0.1 is now officially released!

The changelog is not super-long, but we wanted to get this update out due to two issues that cropped up.
  • FIXED Menu scaling in Bitwig
  • FIXED Env Legato parameter was not working properly
  • ADDED Host context menus for menus, toggle buttons and multi-state buttons
  • ADDED 130+ patches from Aleksey Zhehanov
  • UPDATED Patches belonging to Keys category now all have Env Legato set to Retrigger
Download as per usual from our website (yes, we know it's still a work in progress, but the most important part is working!).

We have also applied OB-Xf to be ingested into Homebrew, as soon as that is reviewed, it will be available there as well.

Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Any time I see a Reaper change log item prefixed with CLAP I get really hopeful for a second that it's Polymod.
