54 new arp presets 132 new multisamples
12 new granular samples 82 new shapes
5 new multiloops 20 new wavetables
Hi Manuel, I wanted to know when the Love 303 expansion was released and also when the expansion you told me was released that is dedicated to many multisamples and wavetables that I asked you on Wed Jan 21, 2026. Let me know thanks
I think you did missunderstood him.
As far as i can see, he never confirmed your request.
he just said that they are cooking on something total different, you might think.

Colin, obviously I'm not and would never start a controversy, but I'm just writing what I wrote, to be clear. However, Colin, I think you should reread the previous post a bit. That said, for your convenience, I'll quote what I wrote a while back:

"In my opinion, it's a real shame, because for people like me and you (I presume), it would be very nice to have dedicated libraries of multisamples and wavetables for the many different synths Manuel has. And it's a real shame, yes. It would be fantastic to have the various waveforms and multisamples for so many of those synths there, given that even the shops I go to have some synths on display, but nothing like Manuel's vintage synth museum. I'd stay up all night and spend all day at Vengeance with all those beautiful synths."

"Will you ever make collections of all your synth multisamples? Because a while ago you made an expansion for Avenger called "String Machines," which I read contained 654 new multisamples! Because between multisamples, wavetables, etc., you can create so many new sounds."

"It's a real shame, because for people like you and me (I assume), it would be really nice to have dedicated multisample and wavetable libraries for Manuel's many different synths. And it's a real shame, yes. It would be great to have the various waveforms and multisamples for so many of those synths, since even the stores I go to have some on display, but it's nothing like Manuel's vintage synth museum. I'd stay up all night and spend all day at Vengeance with all those beautiful synths."

Colin, more other people had written pretty much the same thing see the comment of " trusampler" who had written "'we also specifically asked for these dedicated synth specific libraries. Including their Matrix 12, they have some incredible analog pieces that are worthy alone to bring out just multi-sampled libraries. There comes a point where these rare vintage synths deserve their own space not bundled with a bunch of other mess, and people would buy these."

and manuel after these comments had written "so, we are working on something that might interest you... more infos soon"

Obviously, this isn't a polemic, and I emphasize this. I'd just like to have more multisamples, wavetables, shapes, etc., instead of presets. If there were an empty bank with just wavetables and multisamples, I'd be happy.

So I thought it was referring to an expansion coming out soon with tons of multisamples and wavetables, etc., specifically for people who really want to create their own presets. I see other users have asked if an expansion like the String Machines expansion, which contained 654 new multisamples, would be released. It would be interesting, at least for me, and hopefully for other users.

Unfortunately, I don't have the amazing collection Manuel has, and I'd really love for Vengeance to have tours. I'd go every week just to see all those synths and try them out. Because there's nothing in stores anymore; everything's online, especially since you don't often find vintage synths.

Hi Manuel, Yes, of course I imagined that Love 303 didn't have many multisamples/samples, maybe a little wavetable. I can't wait for it to come out so I can try it as an expansion; it must be very interesting. Because it's been a long time since a specific expansion for 303/acid was released. You did well to do it.

obviously I'm thinking about it, and this isn't a polemic at all, because I admire you for the wonderful work you're doing with Avenger together with Renè, and also for your professionalism as a sound designer when I listen to your presets. You're truly talented.

Since I asked you a while ago if a library with lots of multisamples or wavetables would ever be released, you replied, "So, we're working on something that might interest you... more info soon." This was right after my request and another user's comment. I was actually thinking that an expansion based solely on wavetables and multisamples, etc., was about to be released. I already have the Italodisco and Synthwave expansions because they have the most multisamples from vintage synth hardware.

It would be really cool if an expansion like the "String Machines" expansion came out, which contained 654 new multisamples. But one that included lots of multisamples from the best bass synths you have in your studio, including wavetables (Moog, Oberheim, etc.), I think it would be interesting, at least for me and hopefully for other users.

Unfortunately, I don't have that wonderful collection you have, Manuel, and I would really like to have tours inside Vengeance. I would go every week just to see all those synths and try them out. Because they're not in stores. There's nothing, it's all online now, especially when you don't often find vintage synths.

Anyway, you know I still appreciate all the work you're doing, and for me, you've remained the number one sound designer since 2000 or so, when I started following and listening to all your work.

Manuel I have 3 specific questions if possible answer me:

1- When it comes out as an upgrade (because you told me it was on the list of things to add) also the possibility of saving the presets both in classic normal mode like today (.avgr), but also the possibility of another type of saving so you can then import them into a preset when dealing with multiple OSCs etc. to create the famous Sequencer section. That is, create lead bass presets etc. and obviously other sounds to then be able to import them as already created presets to then create faster sequencer presets, compared to creating everything on the spot, when you are not always inspired.

2 Can I ask you when Love 303 will be released?

3 And also when the version 2.5 comes out I think with the possibility of piano roll and midi imports.

Let me know in the meantime, thanks for always replying and always remaining number 1 for me as the best sound designer.

1.) unfortunately this is not planned - and would be totally impossible, due to Avengers complex architecture. You cant import a single preset into an existing one. Several modulation sources, filters and OSCs already might be occupied by other stuff. You have to open several instances

2.) its next on the list, but we do not work with exact release dates. We just release when everything is finished and when it "feels" to be the right time. But roughly 1 xp each month +/-

3.) same here, the 2.5 update is not finished yet and we dont have a release date. It can take 2 or 8 months. We just simply dont know atm. Sorry :(

and yes, I meant a completely new thing, regarding the multis. But its too early to talk about this already. More precise infos when its time :)

Post

Okay, Manuel, you're welcome! First of all, thank you so much for all the replies.

1)because it would be very useful for creating my own sequence presets, etc. It's a shame about the individual presets that were then imported into a sequence, as I was better at building sequence presets.

2)I'll be waiting for the Love 303 expansion, which should be very interesting.

3)As for the 2.5 upgrade and midi import, I can't wait for it to come out

Regarding the multiplayer news, I'm very curious. I'll wait until it comes out.
Thanks for everything, as always, and keep it up!

  I don't know how to delete this post, can someone explain it to me?

Post

I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same experience? I have a folder of various wavetables that I sampled from various synths, etc., or from friends who shared theirs with me. Since I updated Avenger 2, I do the "resample" function and set it to 2048, it no longer reads that type of wavetable properly. It feels like a pain in the ass. I've tried everything, but before it read them just fine, now they don't work. Has this happened to anyone else on the forum? Because when I had Avenger 1, I dragged and dropped them and they always worked right away. Since using Avenger 2, I've noticed that many of them no longer read them. My question is whether some are more complex waveforms and therefore read better, while others are simple and perhaps don't have multiple cycles and therefore aren't seen as waveforms. Let me know what procedure you use to import "wavetables" and "shapes" into Avenger 2. Let me know if the same thing happens to you.

Is there a way to sync the attack values to host in the amp and filter modules, rather than choosing a ms value?

Post

yes, by using the ModEnv instead

Post

For some reason I cant get my head around how to use the mod env to set a syncable attack time with the amp. Do I use a positive or negative value in the mod matrix? What should the amp attack dial be set at, or is that irrelevant? Or, are you suggesting I use a mod env on the amp volume knob to emulate an attack setting?

Post

you dont need the modmatrix, in the AMP and Filter ENV at the lowest right corner you can select the modEnv as modulation source for it

This is a love letter for one of the most influencial and versatile synths of all time: the TB-303! No matter if you do Acid House, Rave, Trance, Chillout, Techno or modern EDM: The 303 was and is everywhere. Three sound designers (Manuel Schleis, Andy Hinz and Alan Morris) teamed up to pay a tribute to this unique source of inspiration. We carefully crafted an XP which travels its way through the the 80s, the 90s, the 2000s, modern territory and beyond. You will find complex sequences by using the internal arp and carefully recreated distortion fx chains, playable oneshots and live recorded multiloops of real silverboxes and famous distortion boxes. You will also find a vast amount of drums through all time periods and experimental stuff (ever wondered how pads would sound if the 303 was polyphonic?). You need this XP in your arsenal, no matter what you are producing. A 303 sound will ALWAYS be the icing on the cake.
