All 64 Brainworx-developed plugins now have full UI scalability, a unified upper toolbar, code improvements, and an opt-in usage tracking feature (which I'll keep switched off).
All eight SPL Module plugins have received a new unified interface design, bringing a consistent look and feel across the entire module family.

Several plugins received targeted updates specific to their product lines, including new UI designs, bug fixes, and performance improvements:

bx_2098 EQ - two switchable UIs, improved metering
Purple Audio MC 77 - new collapsible UI, performance improvements
bx_limiter - new UI, bug fixes, performance improvements
bx_oberhausen - NKS format fix, performance improvements
Knif Audio Knifonium - NKS format fix, performance improvements
This release is the start of an ongoing effort, not a one-time update. The groundwork laid here, including standardized UI behavior, improved code foundations, and scalability across the portfolio, sets us up for continued improvements throughout 2026. We're already working on the next round of updates, and we'll share more details as they're ready
Overall a pretty decent update :tu:

Interesting that they assume they will still be around throughout 2026.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

That's good and all.

But what about the elephant in the room?

Anyone know when these updates were actually implemented and uploaded to their site? I re-installed all 34 of my PIA plug-ins over the weekend, after migrating to Win11. Running the PIA Installation Manager today shows 0 updates available for my plug-ins.

We all know the Installation Manager was useless for notifying us about updated plug-ins in the past, and frankly, I'm not sure if that's even been fixed, considering what I'm seeing.

The blog post is dated March 23, and while it lists some of the plug-ins that have been updated (along with what was updated on them), it doesn't offer a version number for any of them, so there's no easy way to tell if I have the latest plug-ins, or if, again, PIA's Installation Manager just isn't showing available updates.

I appreciate PIA updating plug-ins and showing they're committed to their work despite NI's issues. I would just like to know if I need to return to downloading all 34 plug-ins manually again.

EDIT: I just logged into PIA's site and found they'd re-arranged the page showing your plug-ins. The old one was a bit difficult to see at a glance what you had—but the new one is missing at least two of my plug-ins, with no obvious link where to download them directly. :?
Here's some of my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/shadowsoflife. If you hear something you like, I'm looking for collaborators.

It looks like it started last month, but I haven't heard anything in a few weeks. - https://discuss.cakewalk.com/topic/9380 ... updates-33

FWIW, there should be downloads available at the bottom of PA's product pages.

It was certainly some time before they posted the news about it, which is what they have done many times before. I certainly updated all my PA stuff a few weeks back (I was a little surprised at how many updates there were in the PA installer), and it was these updates that were showing then.

So the updates were published at least a few weeks ago, possibly earlier.

Never mind

Their many plugins need a better oversampling (channel strips, for example). Some of the plugins are hardly usable because of aliasing, like ACME Opticom compressor.

Updates don't fix the issue I have with BlackBox HG2 MS : it clips the CPU each time you turn it "on" or "off".
Most plugins don't do that.

That's not an issue, it's a feature.

Good that NKS is fixed, bad that many of these still do not have their own preset loading so rely on inconsistent hosts to do it

It actually seems to be a very basic update, with the biggest feature being the usage tracking option. :D

my favorite update? BX Meter has the resize menu on the top left showing 125 and 150% zoom. But the only zoom settings that work are 100% and below
