Here’s hoping UVI has a GUI redesign like Sparkverb planned for Relayer too.

Yes. I was very disappointed to discover this too.Diego_C wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2026 11:06 pm Hi, is it now mandatory to download their software only through the portal?
Not so long ago there was the dedicated installers page at Uvi but I can't find it anymore after the website cosmetic overhaul ...
Portal is also webkit based, will cache almost 300MB of additional web content, downloads via Bit Torrent, and immediately deletes the downloaded files if you don’t grab them, from its temp directory, before you complete an install (At least give users the option to save them UVI!)
The one big positive is that Portal version checks both apps and libraries, making it easier for someone to see if they have updates (though now you have to perform an additional click to see what the version actually is), and I’ll also give them that it doesn’t appear to require any background app shenanigans like many downloaders do. But I’d still prefer the basic download links.

I did indeed. Thanks for that.T-CM11 wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 3:05 pm You missed some answers; you can download installers via the Portal website.
It's also using the same layout as the Portal app. Which makes sense, in terms of consistency. But maybe not so good that it now requires an additional two clicks, for every individual item, to see what the download version is, versus the old site which showed the download version by default. But I'm glad they kept this option for users

I actually prefer the old look of the plug-in
Does anyone happen to have an older VST3 version by any chance?

Is the new version slightly blurry for anyone when scaling is set above 100%?
Here's how it looks on someone else's machine:
And then this is how it looks on my PC:
If you open the images in a new tab you can see the difference more clearly. It's not a huge difference but it's something I've noticed with a few other plug-ins where scaling might look blurry on my PC but look fine on someone else's machine. Maybe it's a HiDPI/Retina type issue?

Are you comparing a PC to a Mac? Just curious.Dazd_N_Confuzd wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 10:40 am Is the new version slightly blurry for anyone when scaling is set above 100%?
I have hunch it might be related to your video/graphics chipset. Maybe OpenGL related? Check your plugin settings and manual for any graphics-related settings.
Also, have you tried updating your video/graphics driver? If not, I would do that too.

Are you using Windows HDPI scaling more than 100%?Dazd_N_Confuzd wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 10:40 am Is the new version slightly blurry for anyone when scaling is set above 100%?
If so, then have you uncheck "Auto-Scale Plug-In Window" in Live?
