Unfortunately I don't actually have this power
(At least not without A LOT of headache)

The trial is tied to your machine ID so you can get a new trial on a 2nd machine.
BPB30 at checkout will bring the price down to like $34
I've also set up a path to get a free license here:

Ok got it. I don't have a 2nd machine unfortunately.
I may just go ahead buy it at that price. There's still the moneyback guarantee as a fallback, right?

100% 30 day money back for any reason and you keep the license. I'm very exploitable with this policy but so far there's been 0 bad actors. Which is surprising but cool! But yes, just reach out if you're not happy with it! I've already processed 1 refund (he bought twice like a week apart  ) the money was back in his account within an hour. Although I can't guarantee the same speed for everyone of course 2-3 business days is the "official policy".

I like loud. This gives me a little more loud. So i might buy it for that extra bit of LUFS.

The thing looks a bit amateuristic tho. Small lettering in many places, no peak reduction metering, preset selection window that you need to click away. Are things going to improve soon ? Is this dev going to stay around to maintain it ?

Anyway. Still on the fence. But decided to do the mixdown of my next release using the demo, if it isn't going to be a hit i'm blaming Buzzcut :D

Absolutely. I'm working on a 1.5 update right now having listened to all the feedback.
I totally agree with all that, currently 1.0 version looks like a joke in comparison. Excited to drop it in 2-3 weeks hopefully.

Yeah, hoping to hear something on this.

Still digging this as the first plugin in the mastering chain for rounding off harsh drum peaks. Subtle in that context, but great at what it does.

p.s. absolutely goated plugin... any1 reading this, wondering if it's worth having, yes. let's support this dev!!

Hi guys! Sorry I’ve been away from the thread. Nice to see some of you following up!

I hope you don’t mind if I take the easy way out and paste my update from Gearspace (forgive me KVR crew!)

“So here's what's been happening.
My intention was to simply update Buzzcut to a 1.1 version, then a 1.5, but the improvements kept stacking up and maintaining backwards compatibility was just going to be nightmare and I've decided to not go that route.

I've opted to make a separate "Big Brother" version.
"Buzzcut Pro".

That being the case, I've not had to hold back.

I'd love to get in to details about what's improved and what it's now capable of (basically everything) but I'll save that rant for the launch! (I intend to have an AAX on release too). I will say that "Pro" is aiming to compete with the big boys (Ozone, Pro L2 as well as what it was already doing, gold clip, K-clip etc). On the limiting front, I believe I've found a unique approach to limiting which is superior to the currently existing approaches. I'll explain why I think that on release (big nerd out) and you lot can have at it with your opinions. Maybe some of you will think I'm just getting high on my own supply Lol smiley

All I can say is the theory makes sense, I've tested them side by side and I like what I hear.

I will be in need of beta testers soon so if you're interested please let me know! I can't say for certain exactly when I'll be in touch but it shouldn't be much longer now. I've been claiming 2 weeks for like 6-8 weeks now (or more, I've lost track) but I'm working on it basically all day, every day, to get it out ASAP!

Also, "Buzzcut Pro" will be free to anyone who has a Buzzcut license already (which is probably most of you).

Here's what it looks like right now, still a few tweaks to make! "Soon" <3”

Hi! I tried the demo but didn't ended up buying it (for now) since I couldn't really hear a significant difference from other clippers I compared it to but I'm curious to see this new version and this new approach to limit. I make very loud drum and bass music and I always like to try new things :D so count on me for the beta if you like!
