I wish they'd offer the option in Lisa of hiding one of the channels. I don't need both when just in stereo mode. 50% of the GUI just dead space and making the controls I do want to use much smaller and very hard to read.

They did that for the Purple Audio MC77 which is nice.heyheycnv wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 7:35 pm I wish they'd offer the option in Lisa of hiding one of the channels. Totally agree on THAT.. !!heyheycnv wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 7:35 pm I wish they'd offer the option in Lisa of hiding one of the channels. I don't need both when just in stereo mode. 50% of the GUI just dead space and making the controls I do want to use much smaller and very hard to read.
( I would love an alternative GUI with a modern readable front)
But Hey... we're getting resizability.. i guess thats something.
..i really like and use LISA a lot , but the gui is offputting.

I'm confused - bx_oberhausen works exactly as before. It doesn't have UI scaling except by selecting a percentage in the top left like I've always been able to?

They shouldn't have advertised all 64 Brainworx developed plugins as getting these updates. The only bx plugin I own (of 18) that actually has UI scaling is bx_cripytuner.

Thanks for that.prevolition wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 11:17 pm They shouldn't have advertised all 64 Brainworx developed plugins as getting these updates. The only bx plugin I own (of 18) that actually has UI scaling is bx_cripytuner.

Added usage data tracking is the "feature" being noticed on other forums.
That said, I'll give it to them if they actually improved performance for bx_oberhausen.

Honestly, this hardly deserved such an announcement. I don't consider tracking me a feature, I consider it an unwanted invasion of privacy, that was never advertised when I bought the product.
I think the plugin alliance plugins I own, are my least often updated plugins. Many of them don't seem past the initial release.

I mean there were a substantial number of updates. For the ones I own:
EQ 250 scalable
SVT-VR Classic scalable
bx_Cleansweep Pro scalable
bx_delay 2500 scalable
bx_dynEQ v2 scalable
bx_limiter scalable, new GUI
bx_masterdesk scalable
bx_opto scalable
bx_saturator v2 scalable (really wish theyd done a new sking for this)
bx_stereomaker scalable
bx_subsynth scalable
MC77, scalable and new options to hide modules
Shadow Hills Mastering compressor, scalable
SPL Attacker plus scalable
SPL Transient Designer Plus scalable
Everything in their free suite of plugins is now scalable.
That's a pretty solid update. Also, once you deactivate tracking options (same as NI) any new installs and existing installs default to it being deactivated. It's not that big of a deal.

Fair. But do we know if the scaling/resizing is working properly across the board?
Or are we beta testing it?

From my personal experience, I'm on Win 11 at home and Tahoe at work and everything seems to be working great. The one hiccup I came across was with the bx_dynEQ v2 (on both OS) where the preset modes were non-functional. I reported this to support at PA and about 7 days later that was fixed. I use a few of these daily for live productions and it's been smooth.
