Well, when someone listens to a song like that for the first time,
they don't pay attention to compression or saturation – but rather
to what makes the song or track what it is. Whether the
composition itself is interesting.
And there I hear a groovy urban hip-hop style, which is very nice,
a short part, but good. Compression and saturation are more a
matter of taste. And it's also a question of how the snippet is
integrated into a larger, longer track.
