I'm trying to run T-Rack CS. Every plugin says not authorized but it is. So I try to authorize in the DAW but then it says I'm not connected to the Internet except I am. So I try offline authorization. I download the html file and click on it and it says I have to login. Except I'm already logged in. So I click to login but as soon as I do, it says missing parameters and I'm stuck.
I have tried several times but get the same thing every time.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

Have you tried clicking on "Restore Purchases"? It should be in the menu/options of the plugin.

Turns out none of my T-Rack stuff (5 or 6) works. Both are authorized.
I hate this company. I really do.

Does any other IK stuff work on that same computer? Is that the same one you're using to get on KVR, etc.? I was wondering since it kind of sounds like you're not online, even though you say you are.
If all else fails, you might have to uninstall/reinstall it.
Also I wonder if using a VPN might cause that, not sure it would only cause issues for TRacks though.

Try authorising in T-Racks CS instead. That's where the aforementioned option is. Isn't this covered in an FAQ? It comes up a lot and is specifically mentioned in multiple places.

Okay, I ran Tonex because it, along with everything else, works just fine. Just the T-Rack stuff. Anyway, I found Restore Purchases in Tonez. I clicked on it and all it does is launch the IK Authorization manager, which I already know how to do. So it got me nowhere.
Examigan, yes, it's THIS computer and I AM online, obviously. And NO I am NOT using a VPN. It's just a regular connection through Xfinity.
There is no reason this should not work.

Have you tried updating the IK Authorization Manager? It's currently at v1.0.2.6. What version is yours?

I uninstalled T-Rack 5 and 6. I then reinstalled. But now, only T-Rack 6 shows up and when I try to load a module, it loads but I can't edit any of the parameters. Yes, I do own all the modules. I checked.
Does T-Rack 6 override T-Rack 5 CS making it obsolete?

I don't know if it's since been fixed, but during the last group buy, some T-Racks modules could only be activated/restored in T-Racks 5, not 6. You therefore might need to do it in both apps, depending on what you own. It's possible that the option is in a different place in 5 and 6; I can't remember for sure as this was some time ago, but the fact that some things won't activate in 6 tripped me up back then. Check the Module Manager for T-Racks 6 if it's not in the main app.
Anyway, you need to open T-Racks to finds the option for T-Racks modules, it's not available from the the plugins or in TONEX.

I did get T-Racks 6 working. 5 doesn't even show up in my list of plugins even though it's installed and activated. Honestly though, if 6 gives me everything that was in 5 (it should) then I don't care at this point.sjm wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2026 11:21 pm I don't know if it's since been fixed, but during the last group buy, some T-Racks modules could only be activated/restored in T-Racks 5, not 6. Okay, I have 62 modules in T-Racks 6 so I am pretty sure that's everything.

IK Multimedia: You will be frustrated, but at least you got them cheap!
I could go on all day about my issues with IK, but in the end, I got them for very little, and they do sound great.

@ Wags: For IK authorizations, I always log in to my user account from a fresh boot, and go to my products page. I then launch Product Manager as a separate operation. I have several MAX packages, and they usually authorize and behave well enough. This is in debian linux setups of sundry ages. Some people recommend installing PowerShell to aid plugin issues, as it seems to recognize the internet travails imposed by various win/mac/linux OS versions. Glad your T-Racks are up and running. ToneX sounds are
having the effects just sweetens the pot!

Yes, they do sound great. Worth the hassle, I guess. But boy, IK can drive you crazy.zerocrossing wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 5:37 am IK Multimedia: You will be frustrated, but at least you got them cheap!
