Hi all,

Is there a way to export Kontakt's IR samples used for reverb on certain libraries?
The one I am exactly looking for is Piano Reso 2 from the library Grandeur.

I'd like to export them to use on other sounds.

You can access it directly from any folder on your hard drive. I stumbled across it by chance at some point.

I looked at some of the libraries but they are all inside .nkr files. Not a wav file of some sorts.

Libraries may use the .wav IR samples in the main Kontakt library, in the Effects/ Convolution/ Piano Reverbs folder

If you want to use specific 3rd party NI Kontakt sample library's IRs in any other NI Kontakt instrument then you simply save them as user Kontakt convo effect presets.

If done so then you can call up and use these convo effect presets in any other Kontakt instrument anytime. Don't move original instrument from its storage location.

If you want to use specific 3rd party NI Kontakt sample library's IRs in other products than NI Kontakt then you have to resample these IRs.

Relatively easy but I would do it only if I'm very desperate and so sure that these IRs irreplaceable.

What might irreplace it is PSP Pianoverb. Not an IR but a freeware tunable resonant reverb.

I don't know how to save fx from kontakt to use them with another library, I'll check.
However, I don't necessarily use the convolution with kontakt, I like to use it with some synths I have. I think I have to learn how to resample the IR?

I'll try it, but I have taken a look at its examples, and it does not sound the same to me. Thanks for the suggestion.
