Hello everyone, I'm developing a completely free AB Reference plugin and I'm opening it up for open beta. I'd appreciate it if you could test it and give me your feedback.
You can download it from this website: https://l4fontaneaudio.com/
I also have a pro version and I'm selecting beta testers who will receive the pro version for life.
Thank you in advance, have a good day!

I would love to test this if you have room in the pro version beta test.

I haven’t actually tested this beta. But from watching the video, this suffers from the one thing I truly dislike from AB plugins. And that’s not being able to load the audio into the plugin itself and instead having to drag the reference into the daw and routing it to the reference. Maybe it’s just personal preference, but I much prefer ADPTR metric AB, where I can load multiple references into the plugin itself. But I wish you the best with this plugin, unfortunately it doesn’t look like it would fit my specific workflow.

Hi hightyde, it's a shame the plugin doesn't meet the needs of your workflow, but thank you very much for your feedback, and best of luck with your work.hightyde wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 5:37 pm I haven’t actually tested this beta. Hi blockie710, yes, we still have spots available. The website has a link to the Discord community where you'll find a registration form for the beta test. See you there!blockie710 wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 4:52 pm I would love to test this if you have room in the pro version beta test.

Hello, following L4Fontane Audio's philosophy of always listening to feedback from our valued users (and potential users), we've decided to modify our audio processing so you can manage your references directly within the plugin without needing to place them in your DAW. In the coming days, we will be reopening the beta and would like to invite you to be one of our beta testers as a way of thanking you for your feedback. We will contact you soon.hightyde wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 5:37 pm I haven’t actually tested this beta. But from watching the video, this suffers from the one thing I truly dislike from AB plugins. Okay! You got my attention now. I would happily and be honored to beta test for you. As I was originally a beta tester for Metric AB, and helped to fix a number of issues. I definitely like the look of your plugin. So I’m on board.L4fontane wrote: Tue May 12, 2026 2:37 amHello, following L4Fontane Audio's philosophy of always listening to feedback from our valued users (and potential users), we've decided to modify our audio processing so you can manage your references directly within the plugin without needing to place them in your DAW.
