Well, I'd say hurrah to you!! I am really happy with the clarification! I had stopped buying TAL-Software products after he originally changed his copy protection. It's good that he clarified, and I think that he will win back his customers again. Myself included!zvenx wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2026 5:35 pmI know this thread has gotten long.audiojunkie wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2026 5:30 pmSee, I LOVE these sounds!! Here's what's officially posted:
This is different than what was previously posted about the challenge response copy protection he was using. Did he change it? If so, I'm going to be really happy. But I want to be sure. (I will admit that it looks like he might have, so if it's true, it will be good news and I will start buying again). How does our registration process work?
The plug-in will ask for your license key when you open the user interface. Registration and use of the plug-ins are possible even if the TAL server is unavailable or you are offline.
From time to time the plug-ins connect to the server to verify the license and register the device, if necessary. If the server cannot be reached, nothing happens. This means you can continue using the plug-ins even in the future, whether or not the TAL server still exists.
The license can be registered on up to four different computers. You can remove registered computers at any time by logging into your account.![]()
up to this morning the previous FAQ was there.
I said to him a few people had concerns and I would suggest you clarify (not change, clarify) what you meant.
He did.
And this is what you are reading now.

Thanks for getting that clarification done!
