You thought we were done for today? :hihi:

Electro-Harmonix in partnership with Mixwave present to you

https://mixwave.com/products/ehx-classics-bundle

There's my long-awaited greenie Mistress, now where's FunkyBot? One Small Clone for you

jamcat, no Small Stone for now, but sure you'll love this anyway

This is truly exciting. And so many gems not covered yet. Small Stone, Bad Stone, Stereo PolyChorus, Echo Flanger, Clone Theory, Q-Tron. What am I missing?

I'm missing PolyPhase, ofc.

Part II and III of this awesomeness must absolutely happen, I don't care!

It's really awesome they didn't skip Sovtek bit from the equation. Wish they went with early 90's "Civil War" and "Green Russian" Muffs, but all in due time, I suppose.

OMG I need this

But wait, no Small Stone?

Not for now, jamcat :( But we will, no doubt, challenge Mixwave stronghold about it, make them release Small Stone from prison :hihi:

BTW, some of these can be purchased separately if one doesn't require the whole thing. But it's pricier, ofc. I'm going after that tasty bundle intro sale :hihi:

Not a fan of Mixwave myself, or (overly) EHX for that matter heh...

*Got a few of their pedals where lights and whatnot simply don't work, not really a top tier
manufacturer imo.

I wish they’d gone with Cytomic instead.

their modern output is no patch on their vintage stuff, ofc. but whose is, really?

but the vintage stuff at hand, being modeled, is awesome. now, how close Mixwave got, remains to be seen. I'm demoing this right now and I already like some things that I hear :tu:

Had they done that, it would have been fantastic when it was eventually released in 2035...

Be careful with the Electric Mistress... just had the MacOS VST3 nearly blow my speakers when loading into Bitwig 6 [ 15.6.1 ]. Maybe it's only my system and that format but just in case...

pekbro wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2026 10:29 pm Heh, I have a lot of pedals, and really the only ones that have failed in some way are from Ehx.
Too bad for you, bro. Now what do you want, performative pity for your sadfishing? Shall we hand over a napkin to you for your tears?

You bought some stuff, it broke, nobody cares. When my stuff breaks, I call the store, or call the manufacturer, I return it, fix it, get a refund, whatever.

You were dum not to do it. It's all water under the bridge now, just as my nasty fart on that public transportation yesterday. It was golden, but now it's a goner.

This isn't about modern EHX output. It's vintage pedals with unobtainium Reticon chips modeled, things that are long out of production and were actually unique in that they did and still do.

"Reticon chips", kapish? You understand that, woodpecker bro?

If only your woodpecker "just sayin'" ass would understand any of that, but I'm not betting a damn eggshell on that..
f*ck off dude! that was meant to be more comical than anything, no need for a response like that, what a tool.

I'm not the world's biggest Mixwave fan either but I'll check these out.

I'm in camp Cytomic, and Andy demonstrated pretty well how off their Tube Screamer model is. I was disappointed with their Tweed Deluxe, but in their defense, after I pointed out some of the flaws int heir model they made some improvements in a subsequent update. It's still not totally where it should be (like the pot tapers are way off), but it's more than UA's ever done to update one of their models based on customer feedback.

Their Tall Bird reverb is still one of my favorite guitar springs. But the one with the Harmonic Trem has that effect disappear entirely when collapsed to mono, which they never addressed.

At the rate they release plugins, I don't think they're doing deep circuit models. It feels like every 2 or 3 weeks they've got something new out. I'd be cool with that if they cost less, but these guys charge a premium. So kind of a mixed bag company for me.

Yeah, although honestly mostly for the VCV Rack filters. The Wasp and CF100 are both ridiculously good.

I tried these plugins. I'm not a guitarist and never had EHX pedals to compare to. I do have Audiority Electric Matter, and to me that one sounds more like a BBD flanger than the Mixwave version, which sounds oddly bright and crisp. But I did find it a useful, pleasant sound and I wouldn't reject it out of hand... if I didn't already have piles of effects to draw from anyway.

Awesome, now we don't need that EHX pedal interface. That'll save us about $400.
