What software options to get the "Soundtrack" preset (JX-8P) on Mac?

I have the original JX-8P factory bank .syx with the "Soundtrack" preset (known from "Laura Palmer's Theme" from Twin Peaks). Martin Lüder's PG-8X is not supported on Mac anymore (M1) so what other options are there to get this preset to use on a Mac?

EDIT: I can get PG-8X to run if I run my DAW with Rosetta 2, I'm just not educated enough to know off that will screw some other things up.

Wait for TAL’s JX-8P late this year or early next year.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Roland Cloud JX-3P might get you there, 3P and 8P can be almost identical sounding. And if you only need it temporarily, could just subscribe for a month.

Roland Cloud is a horrendous platform, absolutely not worth it for one patch. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Just wait for the TAL emulation, I'm sure it will be great.

Thx guys, I didn't know about the TAL version, sounds great!

I can still run the app version of PG-8X on an M1.

Just use the IAC bus to route midi from your DAW to the app and something like Blackhole to route audio back into your DAW.

Great, will try until TAL is ready, thanks!

Worth the wait, I would say.
