I’ve just released a small experimental tool called **Audio Alchemy**.
It takes a short audio sample and turns it into a playable preset for Vital.
The idea is simple:
instead of browsing presets, you can generate new ones directly from your own sounds — textures, pads, drones, plucks, or even random recordings.
The tool analyzes the audio and creates 3 preset variations based on its characteristics.
Everything runs locally in the browser:
– no upload
– no account
– no AI processing
– fully royalty-free
It’s free to use (no signup required).
A few notes:
– works best with short, simple sounds (pads, textures, single notes)
– not intended to recreate full tracks, but to generate new synth interpretations
– currently supports Vital (more synths planned)
This is part of a larger idea I’m working on around generative sound design tools (Preset Mutator and Wave Fracture coming next).
If you try it, I’d really appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,
Andrei (Kreativ Sound)
