HI
Yes I know!
But it states I don't own the required licence!
I own practically their whole range, including QF.

There was an issue with my account once (I had two email addresses on record) and I had to email them to consolidate my account for my licenses to show up.original flipper wrote:HI

Have you tried looking on the ohmforce site? They've been sitting in the preset area since December 22.original flipper wrote:HI
Has anyone got the extra QF pre-sets?
I own the bleeder but haven't heard a thing - even E-Mailed Ohmies about them and didn't get a reply.
Flipper.
Try emailing them and posting in their QF forum.

Maybe that's all, because you have to be a "technique freak" to see the potential here.Alouf wrote:Hi,
I heard many people here describe the PSP Nitro plugin as the plugin of the year, or even better, the best plugin ever.
I downloaded a demo and gave it a test run. I mainly want to record vocals and guitar, but i found no use to me for this plugin, unless i am missing something, wich might be the case.
So i was wondering, since i was not able to do nothing with it, what are YOU guys doing with the plugin that makes it so good?
Can you please post maybe some sound samples, and presets you guys are using?
Thanks all!
In real situations, probably the usage of such kind of plugins is (after my experiences) verey rare.
I don't think, that there is anywhere an album out, where all the time "excessive filtering" is audible or even used as an entire musical concept...
And for sure you will not get a Grammy Award because you use Nitro excessive...
ps: the same "hype" was on releasing other filter plugins too, like the Ohm stuff and the Antares Filter.
This is simply a kind of "sport" here on KVR, mostly by ppl, who did't even release anything with this plugin used...

for anyone making electronic music, Nitro is invaluable. the sound quality is top shelf, like all PSP stuff, and the sheer range of treatments available is mind boggling because you can chain up to four effect "operators" in Nitro in any combination you like... for example a lo fi effect, followed by a temp synced delay, followed by a sweeping filter etc
The short story is: Nitro is a MultiFX plug, not just a filter plug

... matter of taste.
Because all kind of "electronic music" was already successfull at a time where Nitro wasn't available. And it is nothing, that were necessary (and missing yet) for producing this kind of music.
But finally, you are right, it is an interesting plugin with some possibilities.
Maybe you could show something it by posting results you made with it?

very true - no-one needs Nitro to make great music. But if you have some money to spare, you will find Nitro can do alot for what you pay. And it has superb sound quality. And if you get it, it will sneak its way into your tracks, subtlely or notjackle&hyde wrote:... matter of taste.

I would if I had time, but I'm about to go offline. Download the demo and try it out for yourselfjackle&hyde wrote:...

Edit: When I think about it, having different effects under one interface, each able to be chained in order and controlled with a modulation matrix, I realise that the beauty of Nitro is that it makes you start trying more creative stuff - well, it does for me

Woot! I got Nitro and VintageWarmer! Now I can sound just like putte! And when Urs finally releases more than just MFM for Windows I can delve deeper into that "vote for more love" sound! We are billions!

Yikes. The day I get a Grammy is the day I know I've failed in my musical dreams...jackle&hyde wrote:And for sure you will not get a Grammy Award because you use Nitro excessive...

I think you should have listened to the tracks we had for our last competition. We have kept the best online, here is my personnal fav:his is simply a kind of "sport" here on KVR, mostly by ppl, who did't even release anything with this plugin used... HiHi

In another one, you've got this one which is brilliant both in subtle and creative use of the beast.

(all those from our listen & read area, that really start to look like something BTW).
I was terribly impressed by this contest's result BTW. It shows exactly the opposite of your theory (which matches my own fears when we do plugs) : ppl use them for real, take advantage from the design key point for real (morphing, modulation, routing), and all in all products excellent result showing some skills that are often ahead mines when it comes to actually use it... Plus I just LIKE their music, which is what's I am after if you check my sig
