Hey my friends,
I have written a tool that might be useful for some. I have fixed one of the annoyers in FL Studio that nagged me from time to time. The stock plugins are not hidable. And so all the demo versions, but also simply the unused FL plugins, are in the way and produces visual noise.
HT Stockplugin hider ist a small and lightweight tool to hide the FL Studio stock plugins that clutter your UI. It safely moves their .fst and .nfo files so they disappear from the Plugin Picker, Channel Rack, and Mixer in FL Studio.
Well you can do this manually in case you are lucky enough to know that you simply need to remove the fst and nfo files from the plugin database in the image-line folder. But the tool makes it much more convenient and much faster.
The project is open source under MIT license, and can be found at Github: https://github.com/ReinerBforartists/HT ... r/releases
And at my page: https://haizytiles.reinerstilesets.de/i ... gin-hider/
Feedback & Bug Reports are welcome!

This is actually really cool! I've done this manually in the past before but this is a really nice and convenient tool. Just a quick question: does this have the ability to bring back deleted .fst and .nfo files that were changed before or is it based on your preexisting libraries?

Many thanks for the feedback. The tool cannot restore deleted FST and NFO files, only those it has backed up itself. However, there is no need to do so. Image-Line will automatically recreate the missing FST and NFO files when you re-enable the plugin in the Plugin Manager.
As shown in the video, that’s the curious part. Once you delete the original FST and NFO files, you can use the Plugin Manager to toggle the stock plugins on and off as intended. These recreated FST and NFO has another size then though. Which is most probably the reason why you cannot turn the stock plugin on and off in the first place. After recreation by turning them on in the plugin manager you can.
