The Sherman Rodec Restyler *is* a Sherman collab and has Gillis' unique tech inside. I think of it as a newer, streamlined filter with some very sweet gain controls. It is awesome sounding and looks very intuitive to operate (with fewer knobs).

It's good but the Arturia Filter MS-20 is a beast

Post

Yes, the MS-20 filter is the best I've heard.

Its not even filtering there, it just adds 30db drive...

^ Which is not true, even being a simplified version.

Anyway.

Very nice layout. I love the block diagram in your manual.

I have some suggestions, but am unsure what the best way to share these with you is. My main sticking point is the responsiveness of the UI, some of the knobs move in very small increments (what feels like fine tuning) when I'd really like to swing the control the full amount in one easy move. Specifically the Frequency knobs require lots more manipulation than I would expect.

Neat!

Best way would be to leave a comment on the developers page:

Anyone else got this, on sale at Thomann. The RRP is just insane hence avoiding it till now, plus the fact theyre not on the radar but Thomann lends them some legitimacy

I cant decide if I like it as its difficult to tame and the presets are pants, Im avoiding the manual cos Im an idiot 😆

Not much in the way of audio samples to check out. And sus that they want me to request access to the other sound file. The UI is obvious, but the "neural net" sounds a bit iffy as well.

Yes, I had seen that document; I would like to find the mention of Intel and Apple Silicon for example but nothing!

Here's a reprise of a previous demo, but using my latest revision. I am rather happy with how it works (Bitwig Studio only), but then that is my preferred DAW. Anyone is welcome to give it a try.
