From Urs: "by far the most complex project we've ever done" and "it is a completely new plug-in. Every algorithm, parameter set, feature, down to UI workflows have been written new from ground up, surpassing what Zebra 2 can do, sound or feel like. Some of that comes at a price: A Zebra 3 module will commonly use about twice the CPU of a Zebra 2 module. The improvements are vast though. Some of the new filters are on par with Diva's, so don't go too crazy with them on pads and such. They're totally fine for solo sounds and basses.

As last month already mentioned, I'm at creating a Beat Synced Multi-In Scope VST3 With Extras plugin.
I had to do quite some more work since last message ... it profited from the concepts I did back in my Protoplug/LUA PoC. So it's quite cool ...

It has some very cool features. Two I like most

• the cancelation detector which is described in the readme. you can see the red/green line at the bottom. The redish color is a test which shows what happens when you mix a bdr with the phase inverted signal.
• that it has remote control capabilities (localhost only)... with one button press you can switch all peers into "broadcast only" mode, i.e. they send their samples but do not do anything else. Btw. I plan to create a node.js package which can read the data broadcasts ... and then it can be displayed outside the DAW.

Disclaimer:

• It's code with LLM assistance. But as I mentioned ... the concepts existed before.
• It's only windows (I think at least 10) and Linux for now. I don't have a Apple and will never have one.
• It has only been tested on Bitwig 6 and Cubase 15
• It needs network access ... it does UDP broadcasts
• On my machine the perfromance is good, but I cannot gurantee it's on your machine. Use just 2 or 3 instances and on top the "Put Peers in B/Cast mode" Button is your friend.
• Hey, it's 4 free ... please take problems with a grain of salt. If you like, then let me know what the problem is

Hm, had the impression, that often with big synths, they allow to use commercial plugins. Seems not to be the case that time. Working with free or stock plugins is like PITA.
