Anyone with this software that has run into not being able to uninstall Roli Connect? I realized that Roli is a resource CPU hog and am trying to remove it completely from my Mac. I'm able to drag and drop the main Roli program into the trash and uninstall it. The Roli Connect program (which uses cloud) that sits up in my dashboard can't be thrown away because it's 'Open'. But I don't see a way to close it. Anyone know how to close it?
I tried looking on the Roli site and with someone online with a similar issue, but am not having any luck finding info on this.

For anyone else, I figured it out. If on Mac, you have to go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items
Here you have to uncheck the box for it. But don't stop there because it will still persist. You have to click the minus button to remove it.
Then if you go to your Applications folder, you are finally allowed to drop it in the Trash and empty the Trash to completely remove it. I don't know why this info wasn't posted online anywhere relating to Roli.
I suppose this thread can go off into the ether, but maybe serve a purpose for future Roli customers. Their app was one of the most annoying I've dealt with.

You could try an uninstaller like Revo, it always gets rid of any left behind problems.
Oh sorry I just realized you're talking Mac. Perhaps the standalone USB version would work for Mac.
On PC you can select to not have Roli Connect startup when windows does, there for no resources are used until you open the app. I would imagine a similar thing could be setup in your Mac.
Also connect is required to connect to the mothership every so often or you won't be able to use hardware of software.

These “connect” methods are a pain. If Equator wouldn’t be such a great MPE synth it would be gone long time. The main reason also to avoid Roland cloud like the plague…
If all users complain about it, maybe they think about that slap in the face for honest users. This is what drives people away… Urs should teach them how to do it right…
