Hey KVR,
Wanted to share my first commercial plugin release. Synerator is a VST3 instrument host that loads your existing soft synths and randomizes their parameters to generate new patches.
Features:
• Hosts any VST3 instrument (tested with Serum, Diva, Vital, FM8, Surge, and others)
• Adjustable randomization intensity (0–100%)
• Filter randomization by parameter category - oscillator, filter, envelope, modulation, FX, or all
• Save/load Synerator presets
• Browse and load installed VST3 plugins from within the GUI
• Recent plugins list for quick access
• Windows and Mac (universal binary, Apple Silicon native)
• Built with JUCE/C++ by Dance Diamond Digital
• $19 introductory price (regular $29) at https://www.scottbrio.com/synerator
• Video walkthrough down below
This is v1.0 - actively developing with undo, MIDI CC blacklisting, and plugin instance saving on the immediate roadmap. An FX version and a multi-slot hosting version (InSynerator) are planned further out.
Recently featured on Rekkerd.org. Happy to answer any questions about the plugin or the development process.
Cheers,
Scott

Would be nice to have an option to select from several sound type profiles.
Set it to e.g. pad profile and have it generate all kinds of pad presets, or percussion and get percussive presets.
How it works now seems a bit too random, even with a few percent the results you show are still unpredictable (several times not close to the plugin preset used as the base preset).

Yeah it's still v1.0 but I agree it would be cool to be able to choose from sound type profiles. I'll look into that.RPH wrote: Sat Apr 04, 2026 10:13 am Would be nice to have an option to select from several sound type profiles.

I have had a ton good results adding small amounts of random- keeping the same 'genre' of sound, bass/lead/pad/etc but it is very guess-and-check. I think that's kinda what makes it fun

Glad it caught your interest! You can indeed exclude certain parameters simply by right-clicking them individually, or the whole group itself.Caine123 wrote: Sat Apr 04, 2026 10:25 am hmmm interesting, always wanted something like this thx, dunno if i buy it, but would be also cool to exclude certain modules/parameters or is it possible?
