The JX8P doesn't even have the same chorus as the JX10 / MKS70, as we have found out with Patrick to our surprise. The JX10 is supposed to be two-JX8Ps so one would expect all things to be identical, but the chorus certainly isn't.

So this means we now need a JX10 plugin to get the different chorus and Layering and Splits ? I was just getting ready to ask if Patrick was planning on adding this as a feature. I just bought this btw, really good job. If I buy two licenses will I still get the same DISCOUNT 15% OFF for TAL customers ? I'm adding it to the cart, but it's not working.. We need two licenses.

No we don't need a separate plugin. It would just be another button in the Chorus section to change it to JX10 behavior.

Or just add different modes to the his existing chorus plugin. That'd be even better!

Ah some other stringers had excellent choruses as well, not just Solina.
There's also Dimension D which is great too.

I know he doesn't have a JX-10.. I am not sure how much access he has to one..
I imagine for him to want to do it properly, he would need access to one..
But he may just do a JX-10 ish and like others say, allow layering and a jx-10 chorus working with EH on it.

I think the JX chorus is the best of the Roland choruses and would welcome a new JX mode on TAL Chorus.

They all are different instruments, that sound different and have different features.loctune wrote: Sat Apr 04, 2026 10:24 pm Now, I haven't played a JX8P in my life, so someone educate me the difference between a JX8P and a Juno 60/106?
A glance at the features will tell you a bunch of stuff like the JX8P has two oscillators whereas the Junos have one, it has velocity and aftertouch, it has DCOs with cross-mod which is not something the others have, etc etc. Different.

JX8P = cream with spiceloctune wrote: Sat Apr 04, 2026 10:24 pm Now, I haven't played a JX8P in my life, so someone educate me the difference between a JX8P and a Juno 60/106?
Juno 60 = single cream
JX10 (aka Super Jupiter / MKS70) = double cream with spice
