Some of the ways and tools I have used are no longer available. The sites and developers of online AI music generators have responded to a flood of complaints from artists and the music industry and removed some tools.

Schatten des Glaubens
That song you linked to sounds rather over-processed and lo-fi to my ears. Is that what you mean about the loss of quality?

It may sound like that. But over-processed and lo-fi are effects created in studio to lower the apparent quality of a good quality track. The Schatten however is raw unprocessed AI track, never good sound wise, never better than it now sounds, simply very noisy. It's strengths are elsewhere.
I don't record any instruments live, I construct my music.

I really don't want anything to do with AI. As far as I'm concerned it is extremely dangerous - particularly in the long term. It actively discourages critical thinking, and dumbs everything down, while giving the illusion of intelligence.
There are already studies showing the effect this has on the general public.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Completely agree with this principle.
Well said, that man.

Yes, the "intelligence" of AI is illusory. They are just super adept at finding patterns and correlations between things without actually knowing what anything is. That can be useful, if its limitations are kept in mind.

Their greatest danger (imo) lies in how humans may use AI. The combination of the "smart" phone and artificial "intelligence" particularly worries me. The phones alone have already dumbed down a lot of people.
